Half Truths

Wednesday Evenings from 7:00-8:00PM
Wednesdays: in-person or by Zoom

Sunday Mornings from 9:00-10:00AM
Sundays: in-person

During the Easter season, our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening study will be based on the book Half Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn’t Say by Adam Hamilton. Other half truths we will be exploring, that you might think are in the Bible but are not, include: “Everything Happens for a Reason;” “God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle;” and “Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin.” What does the Bible actually say about these sayings? Come and find out.

This five week series will begin on Sunday, April 27 at 9:00AM and Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00PM. You do not need to commit to attend all five sessions; we will be happy to welcome you for as many or as few sessions you can attend. You can attend on Sunday mornings, or Wednesday evenings, or both, or mix and match — whatever works best in your schedule. You do not need not purchase the book to participate; you can follow in the discussion without the book. If you would like to purchase the book, you can find it at ChristianBook.com and other online retailers as: regular print, large print, ebook, and new or used. For more information about the series, or if you would prefer for us to order the book for you (rather than you ordering directly), please contact the pastor or the church office.

Our Wednesday evenings are a hybrid Bible study, where you can join in-person at the church building or virtually from home using Zoom. We will be meeting in the Auditorium (larger social hall accessible by the ramp doors entrance). You do not need to be a member of the church to participate; visitors are very welcome. Please contact the church office for the Zoom log-in information.
