The Fretz Mission House
The Fretz Mission House was purchased in 1998 with monies donated by Mrs. Fretz of Hamburg. It exists to provide an opportunity for those down on their luck to get back on their feet. Specifically, guests live rent free for 12 to 18 months. Upon entry, their pantry, medicine cabinet, and closets are already stocked, and they pay no utilities or phone bills during their stay. During their residence, they are provided whatever counseling, financial, and social services are needed to promote their eventual independence. At Christmas, the congregation ensures a present-filled holiday.
DIAPER BANK
Free diapers are available at the church to qualified families on the fourth Sunday of each month.
OTHER MINISTRIES
Sunday School
First Church offers Sunday School for all ages. The program is small but mighty! The Adult Class often has discussions on how the lessons of the Bible have meaning and guidance for us in today's world. Our children learn about the Bible stories and the older classes discuss issues of today that affect our youth. Of course, the children are always in the spotlight, especially with their singing and skits. There is drama at First Reformed - but the good kind!
Sunday School Time: 9:00am

Youth Group
Youth Group has returned! Please reach out if you or someone you know may be interested in taking part! This group meets regualrly to share fun and exciting activities together, build friendships, and to learn more about God!
Bible Study
Join us at one of our Bible Study sessions. Contemporary books with topics that cover situations or events that we face in life, as well as the books of the Bible, are read and discussed as they relate to today's world. Bible Study sessions are held on Mondays at 9:30am.
Events and Community Outreach
This is a group of active individuals who love to have fun and who work to provide activities for our church members and the community. This group meets once a month to plan fun events. Some of the events that have been planned in recent months - Egg My Yard, Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Bazaar, Yard Sale, and even pizza making! There's never a dull moment with this group! We are always looking for more members to help plan and join in the fun!
Common Grounds
Starting September 15, 2024, please join us for a coffee social before our church service. Coffee and baked goods will be provided in the Auditorium. This is a time to relax, reconnect, and rejoice in each other. We hope you will come a little early before our service to enjoy this fellowship!
